At 7 months of age, Pirate attended his first show and was awarded Winners, Best of Winners and Best Bred By Exhibitor for a 5 point major. Over the next 5 shows, he earned 3 more Winner with Major Points and finished his championship at the tender age of 8 months. Along the way, he also earned a Specialty Best of Opposite Sex, 2 more Best of Winners, a Reserve Winners, 3 more Best Bred By Exhibitor and a Best in Puppy Sweepstakes. Later this year, Pirate was awarded a Best Bred-by in Breed and Award of Merit at the Prestigious Eukanuba National Championship show.

At just over 3 years, with very limited showing, Pirate earned the last points for his Grand Championship when he was awarded "Best in Specialty" by Respected Breeder Judge Judy Dorough. As with his regular Championship, his Grand was done with all major, all with competition.

We are very, very proud of his accomplishments!!!
